Is it possible to open HPROF file with JProfiler and analyse it (e.g. use the heap walker)? What are the steps in this case?
Yes, you can open it with "Session->Open snapshot" in the JProfiler GUI. The file should have an .hprof extension.
There are two fundamentally different ways to profile an application with JProfiler: By default, you profile with the JProfiler GUI attached.
