The selected compiler variable must exist and will be read at compile time. Its value will be split with the
configured path list separator. Note that the compiler variable must be defined, otherwise
the build will fail and you have to specify the plain name of the compiler variable, without any
surrounding variable replacement syntax.
For each file that does not exist, a warning will be printed during the build.
