install4j is a powerful and easy to use multi-platform Java installer builder that generates native installers and application launchers for your Java applications. All major platforms are supported.

install4j comes in two editions, the Multi-Platform Edition and the Windows Edition, please see the comparison of the two editions for more information.

Single Licenses
  • The license is for a single developer, it cannot be shared among multiple developers
  • The product can be installed on multiple machines as long as nobody else has access to those installations
  • The license can be transferred after the the original license holder uninstalls JProfiler

Licensing explained

Floating Licenses
  • Everybody can install install4j in your company with a floating license.
  • With one floating license, a single concurrent user can use install4j, each additional floating license adds another concurrent user.
  • After purchase, you'll receive a pure Java license server. Everybody who would like to use install4j must have network access to that license server.

Licensing explained

Command Line Licenses
  • Build-only licenses are assigned to a single machine.
  • Build-only licenses can be transferred from one machine to another after they are uninstalled from the original machine.
  • Build-only licenses can be used in a cluster, if you can ensure that only one build will run concurrently.

  • Free upgrades throughout the entire 5.x series are included with every license

  • Customers of all of previous JProfiler versions are eligible to upgrade to JProfiler 7 at a substantial discount.
  • Please make sure to include your old license keys on the order form. If you have multiple license keys, please separate them by spaces.

  • With a support package you can renew support after the support period has expired.
  • Purchasing a support package entitles you to support and free major upgrades for 1 year.
  • If you have purchased install4j without support and wish to add support and major upgrade assurance, you can also purchase a support package.
  • When purchasing a support package, the upgrade to the current major series (5.x) is included.
